Present in Europe since the 6th century and very popular in the Middle Ages, Zedoary White Turmeric is still widely used in curries in India and Asia.
The rhizome of Zedoary White Turmeric is orange-white color with a scent of mango and a taste of ginger. The aftertaste is slightly bitter.
Use it the same way as ginger, in fish curries or in paste with ginger and turmeric, to marinate chicken or lamb before cooking.
Once the package is open, we recommend that you keep the White Turmeric powder in a closed jar, protected from light and moisture, so that it retains all its flavor.
