From the Citrus family (Citrus Hystrix), the Kaffir Lime fruit is a citrus distinctive by its wrinkled skin. Picked at full maturity, the fruit is washed and finely peeled. The rinds are dried at a low temperature, immediately crushed and packaged to retain all their aroma.
The zest develops a powerful scent of lemon, mint and ginger. Use directly on fish, chicken, in pastry, broth or infusion.
Once the package is opened, we recommend that you keep the Kaffir Lime rinds in an airtight container, in a dry area, away from light and moisture, so that it retains all flavor and aroma.
