This Millésime Kampot Pepper is the essence of Kampot pepper and can be compared to a late harvest for wine. The bunches are harvested at full maturity at the end of the picking season. The distribution of black and red berries is different for each bunch and depends on the weather conditions at that time. The 2021 vintage Kampot pepper benefited from more rainfall than in previous years.
Kampot Pepper 2021 is rich in aroma, less tangy and fruitier than Kampot Black Pepper. The berries, scalded and sun-dried, are black and dark red. The whole clusters are processed without colour selection.
Kampot Pepper 2021 goes perfectly with rice, summer vegetables, sweet and savoury dishes and will surprise your guests with a crème brûlée, pan-fried fruit, chocolate cake, pear crumble or pudding.
To best preserve your Kampot Pepper millésme, we recommend that you pour the sachet into the food-safe Kraft tube, removing the oxygen absorber. It should be kept in a cupboard to protect it from light and damp.
